The slightly larger Accord followed it, which is now brought out in a compact model for the 2012 market.

The 2012 Honda Accord reportedly has the feeling of driving a big car. It is wider and longer than the original models of the seventies, although may not be considered as stylish as other vehicles. However, it is highly competitive from every other aspect.

The new 2012 Honda Accord is equipped with a 3.5 liter V6 engine and on the road, is like driving feels a V8 model car. With an estimated 25 miles to the gallon, it is economical to drive and is much lighter than other cars of comparable size.

The 2012 Honda Accord has retained features that made it popular before. Attention is paid to the quality of its construction and the control layout makes it really easy to drive.  It is quiet on the road, with comfortable seating for driver and passengers. A particular benefit is a good sized luggage compartment.

Despite the gearbox having five gears instead of six, the 2012 Honda Accord offers a high performance level. Although reports show the brakes are slightly under par, they do not give cause for alarm. Hyundai Sonata and the Kia Optima may have more eye appeal and more variety than the 2012 Honda Accord, but this is a car that can hold its own in any company.
