2012 Toyota Camry Launch Brought Forward
Those who have been dying to get their paws on the new 2012 Toyota Camry have been thrown a proverbial bone and will not in fact have to wait quite as long as they may have thought. Toyota have just made the official announcement that they intend to bring the official launch of the Camry forward by approximately two weeks.
As it stands, the all new Camry looks set to hit the showrooms across the US by the middle stage of September, according to a spokesman for Toyota. The newest version of the Camry, which is by far the best selling car in the US over a number of years now, attracted huge levels of interest when it was unveiled in August. Among a number of changes and developments, the Hybrid series will now provide even better gas mileage.
Speaking to members of the media, Toyota stated that the bringing forward of the 2012 Camry has been made possible by better than expected sales of the 2011 lineup. Essentially, dealers did not want to find their hands full of 2011 models when taking hold of the new 2012 range.
The Camry is being produced at the Toyota plant in Georgetown, where production is said to already be operating at full capacity to meet the expected enormous levels of demand.
