Amazon Kindle Tablet Seeking Success Where All Others Have Failed
Like moths to a flame, technology companies the world over have made their own forays into the world of the tablet PC, only to find their hopes all but dashed before even getting off the ground. Of course, Apple made it look all too easy with the iPad and iPad 2, clocking up a staggering 29 million sales in as little as 15 months. However, Samsung, Motorola, Acer and of course BlackBerry enjoyed no such success – and the less said about HP, the better.
However, there is one key player set to make one final leap for tablet PC glory, which is online giant Amazon.
As of now, Amazon is on the verge of releasing its own tablet PC into the battle for superiority, which will essentially be a beefed-up and upgraded version of the massively popular Kindle. As such, not only will Amazon have millions of current users in the palm of their hand, but also even more as a result of an expected price that will undercut all other key players.
Needless to say, a price war and all out battle for dominance is all but inevitable now, which will of course be nothing other than great news for those considering a tablet PC purchase over the holiday season. After all, who’s to say that the new kid on the block won’t force Apple to consider huge price cuts to maintain their lead?
