Apple iTV Expected to Come in 3 Sizes
The US-based consumer electronics manufacturer is expected to launch the Apple iTV in 3 sizes in the last quarter of 2012. Sources in Japan say that the iTV will come in 3 sizes including a 32-inch model and a 55-inch one.
A Japanese company rumored to be working with Apple to produce the iTV said, that the home appliance will compete with Samsung’s and LG’s smart TVs. It seems, experts say, that TV will never be the same again once the new Apple gadget hits the market.
Industry sources also indicated that the Apple iTV will utilize a processor that is also rumored to appear in the third generation iPad. The new processor will reportedly come out in the middle of next year.
What is exciting is that much like Microsoft’s Kinect, Apple iTV will allow users to use voice command via the robotic butler Siri.
Recently, a spokesperson from LG Electronics stated in an interview that a new generation of televisions will hit the market soon. He said, that these TVs, specifically those coming from LG, will have 3D capability and offering a whole new viewing experience.
