As for the front camera, it will boast of 2 megapixel capability, up from its previous 1.2 MP resolution.
Despite being accurately described as the first-ever quad-core Android tablet in history, the Transformer Prime has been besieged by negative customer feedbacks. There have been recent security problems with the device’s bootloader, which had since been resolved by the announcement of an unlocking tool in development.
Also, there have been recent serial number issues with the tablet’s recent Android Ice Cream Sandwich update that are currently being worked on. However, the lingering problem for most users has been the device’s WiFi capabilities. Currently, owners of the tablet have the choice to either return the device and get a complete refund or to keep it and take advantage of an extended warranty.
The official ASUS blog site did not release any information regarding the pricing. Nevertheless, there has been some speculation that it may cost about $100 more than its predecessor in the US market.
Additionally, the blog stressed that the new device is set to be released in the UK around June 2012.
