AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 Release Date Just Beats the iPhone 5 Introduction
AT&T has announced a release date for their version of the Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone. The phone is due to be released October 2 a few weeks later than original release date of September 18. This will make the Galaxy S2 available through AT&T a few weeks ahead of the new iPhone 5 which is set to be introduced on October 4th with a release date probably a few weeks later.
AT&T has said that the Galaxy S2 will retail for $200 with a two year contract including a data plan. The phone has a dual core processor, 4.3 inch beautiful screen, front and rear cameras, Android operations system, and runs on the fast 4G network.
AT&T currently has the iPhone 4 available for $200 for the 16 GB version and $300 for the 32GB. The new iPhone will probably retail for around the same prices which are comparable to the Galaxy S2. The new iPhone will run on iOS5 with a dual processor and the same features as the Galaxy S2.
The Samsung Galaxy S2 has sold well outside the US and is making a debut here in the US. The first ones were available through Spint a week ago. Customers will have good phones to choose between when they go phone shopping next. Both Sprint and AT&T will be carrying the new iPhone 5 due to be released later in October.
