best buy store 300x229 Best Buy Promoting ‘Store within a Store’ to Boost iPad, iPod, Apple TV and MacBook SalesUS retail giant Best Buy is running a new promotional campaign, claiming that its ‘store within a store’ Apple displays are the very best places for consumers to buy iPhones, iPads and Macs.

The new TV advert shows a sales associate demonstrating an iPad to a customer, who is simply bowled over by the fact that all Apple products are available in the store. Focus then moves on to a scene around a Christmas tree, where Santa has turned up a little too late and the Apple gifts he is delivering have already been presents, which include iPhone, an Apple TV and MacBooks.

Santa then drinks a glass of milk left out for him, albeit rather menacingly, with the titles reading “Game on, Santa.”

Of course, the store within a store concept is not essentially a new one, though could be exactly what Best Buy needs in order to snag a lucrative share of the upcoming Christmas buying frenzy, officially kicked off on Black Friday.

In related news, recent surveys carried out across the US returned results proving that Apple devices have this year taken the top three spots for most in demand Christmas gifts, covering almost all surveyed age groups across the board. As such, it is likely that more and more retailers will be showing dedicated Apple-focus in the coming weeks, with the vast majority of consumers appearing to already well and truly know exactly what they want.
