Crude oil spill reaches Mississippi
The sticky, rusty oil spill has reached Mississippi’s coast moor in the Gulf of Mexico, CBS television reported on Friday.
BP – the operator of Deepwater Horizon oil rig that exploded one month ago – announced that from the deepwater fountain they are able to bring the flaring oil on the surface in a changing rhythm. In the last few days the volume has dropped from the previous 5000 barrels per day to 2200 barrels.
Matthew Simmons, the retired president of Simmons & Company international energy industry investment firm added: “Nobody executed such big measured work in such deep sea environment till now.”
Scientists warned on Friday: huge oil masses will floating in deep for years as only one-sixtieth of it comes straight on the surface.
“We don’t know how to stop it. The crude oil can leak smoothly into the sea for years” – experts said.

This is just sad,I mean we have greatest” minds in the world working this spill and we still can’t get it to stop. This is destroying the marsh lands in Louisiana, Florida, and it’s now reaching Mississippi. The government is defective.
