Current GMAC Mortgage Interest Rates
GMAC is today offering competitive mortgage rates, most of which are in line with the nation’s other major lenders, with 30 year fixed-rate loans sitting slightly lower than yesterday at 4.250% yielding an APR of 4.398%. The popular 15 year fixed-rate term for new purchase is 3.375% with a 3.629% APR as of today.
Those looking for 5 Year ARM options can expect to pay 2.875% and an APR of 3.075%.
With regard to today’s refinance options, fixed rate loans are being offered at 4.125% which is in fact lower than some of the other major lenders today, amounting to an APR of 4.290%. Adjustable refinance terms are being offered at 2.750% with an APR of 3.023%, while jumbo refinance options today sit at 3.000% yielding an APR of 3.103%.
While mortgage rates have remained relatively stable and at incredibly low levels for quite some time now, a number of fluctuation has signaled that all may soon be due to end. Although rates across the board can still be secured with most major US lenders, reports for august detailing an economy that has not performed as badly as expected look set to begin a series of consecutive rises in interest rates as investors shift their focus elsewhere.
