Current Mortgage Rates Today: Bank of America Interest Rates
Wednesday has brought nothing other than the most minor of fluctuations national average US mortgage rates, though as can clearly be seen from the advertised rates on offer from Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) today, the minor rises inherently begin to add up over time. Of course, the purchase deals seen today are still some of the best of recent years, but are nevertheless drifting further away from the record lows hit over the last couple of weeks.
Looking first at those deals with locked in rates, the popular standard 30 year fixed term deal for home purchases is today at 4.250% and an APR coming in at 4.439%, while 15 year fixed term deals can be taken out for a rate of 3.625% and a resulting APR of 3.938%
The adjustable terms on offer from Bank of America are also remaining attractive, with the 7/1 ARM today being offered with a starting rate of 3.125% and a resulting APR of 3.317%, while the shorter 5/1 ARM is available for 3.000% which amounts to an APR of 3.254%.
The series of recent slow but steady increases is predicted as likely to continue for the remainder of the week, once again reemphasizing the point that procrastination may cost homebuyers dearly if they choose not to take full advantage while they still can.
