Current Mortgage Rates Today: How Low Can Bank of America Refinances Go?
This question is once again being asked from all corners today, as Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) and countless other top US lenders continue to offer refinance packages at even lower rates to those of last week. Indeed, the stage is set for another truly golden weekend where those choosing to commit to a deal now cannot possibly fail to save a small fortune.
In the case of the most popular fixed rate deals being offered by Bank of America today, the standard 30 year fixed rate refinance is now at a rate of 4.250% and APR of 4.428%, while 15 year terms are allowing mortgages to be cleared for 3.625% and APR of 3.958%.
Adjustable terms are also offering excellent value across the board, with the 7/1 ARM being offered for 3.125% and APR of 3.366% variable, while 5/1 refinance ARMs are today beginning at 2.875% and APR of 3.302% variable.
As can clearly be seen, those intent of really bagging an excellent bargain still have plentiful opportunity to do exactly that, as a predicted period of rises in rates has turned around to a forecast of further drops for the immediate future.
