Does electronic cigarette may cause cancer?
Everyone knows that traditional cigarettes can cause cancer, but what about electronic cigarettes?
Electronic cigarette is a new invention that helps smokers to change their smoking habits in general. One of the major advantage of e-cigarette that it doesn’t contain those harmful chemicals which are causing cancer.
Smokeless cigarette is powered by a small battery which has the same taste like a real cigarette and can imitate the same feeling as if you would smoke a traditional tobacco cigarette.
However, a new report published by FDA pointed out that e-cigarettes contain a special element called “diethylene glycol” which is commonly known carcinogen which causing cancer. FDA also added that though e-cigarette doesn’t contain tobacco it’s still dangerous for health and just as addicting as real cigarette.
FDA is worrying about that since e-cigarettes are available in different flavors they will be more attractive for younger people.
FDA also reflected on the fact, that they don’t know the exact compound of the product and further testing needed in order to find out how e-cigrattes are affecting human health.
