Earth in trouble: Rising average temperature
Earth’s global average temperature in no way should rise three Celsius degrees, because this could lead to the melt of polar ice sheets and the rise of sea level which is very dangerous – climate researchers say.
There’s a price of climate changing. According to scientists one of the adverse effects of climate changing is the rise of sea level. Since half of the world’s population are living near beaches.
However, a three degrees change is such a limit which shouldn’t be crossed, experts claim. If the West Antartic ice starts melting, it can cause even 5 meters rise of sea level.
Climate researchers say, that the El Ninjo phenomenon is causing more and more problems in the tropical regions. Because of this reason, too long rainy and dry periods are alternating, which hit the most populated areas of the Earth.
For all these reasons it’s not enough to stop climate change, in a few hundred years later we need to cool it down as well, according to scientists.
