The new version of Mozilla’s browser offers several new features and developments and it’s expected to be ultra fast.

Mike Beltzner, the head of Mozilla admitted recently that they assigned a very aggressive schedule for Firefox 4. If we are looking at Firefox 3.6 which was originally designed for 2009 but it got released only in early 2010, then we have to agree with the director’s statement. It’s interesting that previously a 3.7 version was in the cards too, but the improvements which were planned to be included in that are already been added in Firefox 3.6.4. and version 3.7 remained available only as beta.

According to Mozilla the main objective was to increase one of the best measurable indicator, the speed. Developers have concentrated on not to slow down the overall speed of the browser by adding new functions, but to make it even faster. At first glance, the biggest change will be the totally refreshed user interface. However, there will be major internal changes too like the integrated HTML5 which is commonly known as “Flash killer”, moreover Firefox is going to support 64-bit systems, hardware acceleration and multitouch as well plus it will be very convenient to install the accessories without rebooting. User rights management is going to be expanded so everyone will be able to check data handling issues, the operation of the software as well as account settings will be fully customizable according to your browsing habits and Windows 7 users will get support for the animated image handling Aero surface.
