According to Italian newspapers, AS Roma captain, Francesco Totti may leave the club at the end of season. Rumors say that Totti got hurt by Claudio Ranieri’s actions during the match against Sampdoria, as the coach has substituted in Totti in the 90th minutes of the match.
Papers say that meanwhile Totti is anxious because of Ranieri’s decision, the club has remained silent and this can result in Totti’s leaving from the capital city. It is obvious that the relation between the player and the coach is chilly recently and yet it’s unknown what is Ranieri’s plan with Totti.
The supporters of AS Roma stand up for the 34-year-old player and at the same time they are asking Ranieri to sit down with the player to discuss problems. According to 71,5 percent of team supporters, the latest affair was quite harmful for Totti, who – as fans say – didn’t deserve such indignity.
Totti has started his professional career in 1992 in AS Roma. The team lost its last match on Sunday against Sampdoria 2-1.
