Halloween Costume Ideas for 2011 to Avoid
Everybody knows that choosing a Halloween costume can be a horror in its own right for men, women, girls and boys, with a thousand and one potential pitfalls that exist to throw a proverbial spanner in the works for all involved. Party-goers need to look stylish but not as if they have tried too hard, creative but simply enough to be understood and most of all look the part without breaking the bank – a recipe for a troubling shopping trip indeed.
So, with this in mind, the following is a brief look at some of the ways in which to avoid a Halloween disaster, which once ruled out should make the process of choosing a costume abundantly easier:
First of all, don’t got for the very first idea that comes to mind, as this will likely be the first idea in the minds of millions of others and leave you destined to be one of 14 attendees of the party dressed exactly the same – hardly the impact most will be going for.
Secondly, under no circumstances try and make the costume too ‘cool’ or stylish. Halloween is about fun and light-hearted socializing, therefore don a full head-to-toe outfit designed for nothing more than posing in and you can guarantee a rather frosty reception.
Next, do not spend any money on a costume you aren’t willing to throw away – fake blood and bright-colored cocktails are likely to be flying through the air from all angles, therefore the chances of coming home unscathed are practically zero.
Finally, if choosing to be risqué or controversial, at least do it with a little taste. There are already thousands looking into Amanda Knox and Steve Jobs costume ideas, but the truth is it is still way too early for this and indeed always will be…don’t do it!!
