Handmade Wonders

Does the contemporary craft field have a chance of survival? It turns out that, yes. Handmade products  like clothes, jewelry, handbags, furniture become more and more popular. They are  made by individual enthusiasts, who decided to join their artistic passion with  the economic aspects of life. Now their hobby is their work. Nowadays you can find in a shop articles made  by means of decoupage, scrapbooking or cardmaking technique.

Decoupage method is about  putting the paper with an interesting theme on things (it can be everything from earrings to a chair or pot ) and then  covering them with special preparations that in some way make the  image look older and causes the characteristic fractures. Things done by decoupage technique appear at Internet auctions or  sometimes we buy them in gift stores.

Scrapbooking method

Scrapbooking is a technique of  decorating  photos. In this case we use the traditional paper-making and haberdashery materials. We  can also make do with specialized aids (special paints, inks, frames, stickers) or ornaments like dried flowers, semiprecious / precious stones and synthetics. We can use the similar ornaments during cardmaking.
