HTC Vigor Release Date October 13th
Verizon Wireless’ latest and greatest Smartphone now finally has an official name, according to a new report.
A leaked set of photos have detailed the new HTC Vigor in all its glory, along with a tantalizing rundown of its main specifications. According to the report, the Vigor will be powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor backed up by 1GB or dedicated RAM. Dual camera will also feature on the unit with full 720p HD video recording capability.
It had been thought that ‘Vigor’ was in fact simply the codename for the device and it would materialize carrying the name of the Droid Incredible HD or perhaps the Thunderbolt 2.
Should the leaks and speculative reports prove true, the HTC Vigor could well be even more powerful than the Motorola Droid Bionic, offering faster 4G LTE speeds and improved battery life.
This next generation device is to be the second 4G LTE device from HTC, following on from the launch of the HTC Thunderbolt which was the first for both HTC and the Verizon network.
Official word from the manufacturer is still to be made public, though rumors have pegged the release date of the Vigor for as early as October 13th.
This next-generation smartphone is set to be HTC’s second 4G LTE smartphone. It comes right after the recent launch of the “HTC ThunderBolt”, which is the first 4G LTE for both HTC and Verizon Wireless.
Official news of the smartphone should be coming soon, since the smartphone is rumored to be releasing on either Oct. 13 or Oct. 20 of this year.
