iPad 3 to Come with Siri, Retina Display and a New Processor
iPad 3 is rumoured to sport quite a few interesting kinks here and there. These so-called “upgraded specs” is sure to intrigue and encourage fans and non-fans alike to check one out when it comes.
One feature that’s set to debut on the iPad line is Siri. If it hasn’t come to your knowledge about anything iPhone yet, Siri is the voice recognition application on the iPhone 4S that acts much like a personal assistant to the said phones’ users.
With its effectiveness and peculiarity, it comes as no surprise as to why this app has become one of the most in-demand features wanted to come along other Apple products.
Another feature to look forward to is the Retina Display. Rumours have flung here and afar that the said iPad variant will indeed be enjoying a higher resolution screen experience courtesy of the said display technology. Rumours started after a certain LG CEO expressed that the Retina Display’s development will indeed benefit upcoming Apple and non-Apple products in the near future.
The current iPad 2 has a 1 GHz dual core processor. With current smartphones in the market boasting of quad core processors, if Apple is indeed looking to enhance every performance facet about the iPad, a newer and stronger processor should be one of its choices to pick up for a desirable iPad spec.
Nevertheless, everything should be taken with more than just a grain of salt. Apple’s legendary cloak of secrecy has never failed its master just yet.
