iPad, Nook, Kindle Fire, Galaxy S2 All Benefit from Glide Compatibility
Glide have this week launched extended support for both Smartphones and tablet PC devices, so as to further extend compatibility of the Glide platform. As of now, Glide fully supports the new Amazon Kindle Fire, the Barnes & Nobel Nook Tablet, iPad 2 from Apple, Motorola XOOM, Samsung Galaxy range, HP TouchPad, Apple iPhone 4S, BlackBerry PlayBook from RIM, Android Smartphones and BlackBerry 9800, 9850 and 9900 along with many others.
According to the CEO of Glide’s operating company, Glide allows users to make their Android Smartphones, Windows computers and iPads from Apple all fully compatible. With the three biggest names in computing today all relying on fully separate operating systems and general software platforms, the need for cross-compatibility is huge and indeed satisfied by Glide.
The three main provisions of Glide are to grant users full file compatibility between devices previously incompatible, secure permissions-based collaboration between devices and secure IT administration between incompatible devices.
Glide bridges the gap between the major software programs and OS platforms of today, providing compatibility between Linux, windows, OS X, Google Android, iOS, BlackBerry Tablet OS, BlackBerry OS, Windows Mobile, webOS and Symbian.
