iPhone 4S Battery Life and Antenna Issues Officially Discredited
Official consumer reports have been published including important ratings for the iPhone 4S, which have made no hesitation in recommending the latest Apple Smartphone after finding no problems at all with battery life, or the antenna issues that plagued its predecessor.
The proverbial nod from the consumer goods publication is likely to be welcomed as incredibly good news from both consumers and Apple alike, following a period of allegations regarding widespread battery issues. Indeed, the same recommendation was not afforded to the iPhone 4 last year, in light of apparent antenna problems.
While customer complaints and comments regarding poor battery life have been officially declared unfounded, Apple have themselves acknowledged that a number of bugs in the operating system have been causing batteries too drain more. As such, an iOS 5 update is on the cards to address the problem, regardless of the fact that extensive tests have still found the iPhone 4S battery to perform superbly.
However, while the iPhone 4S was afforded official ‘good buy’ status, it still did not prove enough to beat out some of the very best Android phones currently making waves. Indeed, Apple’s latest flagship fell notably behind the likes of the Samsung Galaxy S2 and the Motorola Droid Bionic, primarily due to its lack of 4G support and smaller screen size.
Needless to say, had the 4G-toting massive screen bearing iPhone 5 we’d all expected actually expected materialized this year, it would of course have wiped the floor with all comers without so much as breaking a sweat.
