iPhone 5 to Boast 4 inch Screen – Contrary to Wishes of Steve Jobs
According to the latest series of compelling though entirely unconfirmed reports, the next Smartphone to be released by Apple will go directly against the wished of the late Steve Jobs, by boasting an increased screen size measuring in a 4 inches.
Rumors seem to be gathering strength all the time at present regarding the elusive iPhone 5, which has now been theoretically earmarked for an additional 8mm in length to the casing, so as to house the larger 4 inch screen. Citing numerous sources usually known to be reasonably reliable, it has also been suggested that the same flat edges of the iPhone 4 and 4S will be present in the iPhone 5, quashing all rumors of a ‘teardrop’ shape with tapered edges.
A new designed had initially been planned according to the report, though had to be shelved in order to make room for the larger battery the iPhone 5 required. In addition, suggestions that the iPhone 5 was already well into the production stages have been called into question, with the latest indications being that the device is still well within the engineering phase.
Should the reports prove true, the new iPhone 5 would go against the wishes of Steve Jobs, who allegedly pulled the iPhone 5 from release during 2011 at the very last moment as he was unhappy with the way in which the larger screen ‘fragmented’ the overall iOS experience.
