Mortgage Rates Today: Bank of America Ends Weeks Showing Only Minor Fluctuations
As is expected to be seen across the board this Friday, Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) mortgage rates as a whole have moved very little from those offered at the beginning of the week. Interest for consumers has also show little to no movement, remaining at quite disappointingly sluggish levels.
Friday sees Bank of America offering a range of options for home purchase, which include the popular 30 year fixed term deal at 4.250% and an APR of 4.441%. The 15 year fixed term deal on the other hand is now being offered for 3.500% and a resulting APR of 3.835%.
For those more interested in variable terms, the 7/1 for purchase can be entered into for a rate of 3.125% and an APR amounting to 3.318%, while 5/1 ARM deals are now at 3.000% and an APR figure of 3.244%.
With consumers having been found content that the current trend of both low rates and low houses will continue for some time to come, there is little likelihood that the much needed housing boom will take place in even the remotely near future.
