Mortgage Rates Today: Citibank Deals Holding Firm Mid-Week
As with most of the other major US lenders offering mortgage products today, Citibank rates across the board are pretty much right in line with national averages, which have of course seen a number of minor but definite rises over the past few days. As can be seen with the rates available as of this Wednesday morning, the rates are certainly attractive and cannot be considered anything but, though are beginning to move further and further away from the all time lows once again hit during last week.
First looking at the purchase deals being advertised by Citibank today, the standard and always the most popular 30 year fixed term deal for mortgages is today a 4.250% and an attached APR of 4.531%, while the equally valuable 15 year fixed term loan for purchases can be found for 3.625% and a resulting APR of 4.184%.
As many would say, the ‘getting’ is still arguable very good for refinance deals for those will to make a move before the low rates well and truly expire. In the case of Citibank, 30 year fixed term deals are today being offered for refinance clients at a rate of 4.250% and an APR of 4.531%, while the 15 year refinance term can see balances shifted even quicker for 3.625% and an APR of 4.184%.
The minor rises in overall national averages are presided as most likely to continue throughout the rest of this week at least, which may indeed prove that time is very close to running out for the procrastinating potential borrower.
