Mortgage Rates Today: GMAC Refinance and Home Purchase Loans
GMAC is offering 4.125% interest rates for refinancing of 30 year loans. The contracts carry an APR of 4.247%. 15 year fixed-rate refinance deals are 3.375% today with a 3.606% APR. VA 30 year fixed rate refinances are also 4.125% today with an APR of 4.576%.
Jumbo 30 year fixed refinance mortgage interest rates are 4.375% with an APR of 4.473%. Jumbo 15 year fixed-rate refinance mortgages are 4.00% with an APR of 4.175%.
Borrowers hoping to refinance their loans under the home affordable refinance program (HARP) will get a rate of 4.125% for 30 year fixed loans or at 3.375% for 15 year fixed loans.
Home purchase mortgage rates are similar to refinance interest rates today with 30 year fixed-rate mortgages at 4.125% carrying an APR of 4.293%. 15 year fixed-rate deals are 3.375% with an APR of 3.61%.
Five-year ARM start at 2.50% and jumbo five-year ARMs are 3.125%. VA 30 year fixed loans are 4.125% with an APR of 4.58%.
These mortgage rates represent the best the bank has to offer for each of the loan durations. Not all buyers will qualify for the best rates. Excellent credit ratings and monthly income that is sufficient to meet mortgage payments is required to get the best rates.
