Mortgage Rates Today: Interest Up Wells Fargo
Wells Fargo (NYSE:WFC) is among a myriad of major US lenders which have seen a number of minor rises in interest rates over the past few days, which in most cases have kept overall prices in line with national averages.
With regard to the purchase packages being offered by Wells Fargo this Wednesday, the popular 30 year fixed rate purchase package is now at 4.250% with a resulting APR of 4.433%, while 15 year fixed term deals can be taken out for 3.500% and an APR amounting to 3.817%.
30 year fixed terms for Jumbo purchase loans are being offered for 4.750% and an APR of 4.886%, while 30 year terms for larger loans in eligible areas are now at 4.375% and an attached APR of 4.508%.
Flexible purchase terms include the popular 5 year ARM, which can be taken out today with a starting rate of 2.625% and an APR of 3.122%.
Rates across the board are widely expected to continue their slow but steady climb as the week goes on, meaning that those still unsure whether to commit to a purchase deal or not may find the price they have to pay increasing with every day that follows.
