Mortgage Rates Today: Minor Fluctuations see Most Bank of America Rates Holding Steady
Mortgage rates across the US are something of a mixed bag today, with Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) mirroring the national average by offering slightly higher rates across popular packages than those of yesterday. While some deals may be on the up, there is still plenty of scope for securing an excellent deal and saving a fortune with a valuable refinance agreement.
For those looking to refinance their current mortgage at a set rate, 30 year fixed term contracts are today being advertised for the same 4.250% as yesterday, which amounts to an APR of 4.440%, while those looking to clear their terms in just 15 years can expect a rate of 3.625% and a resulting APR of 3.997%.
Flexible terms for refinances are also a good deal today, with the 7/1 ARM option being offered for 3.375% and an APR of 3.426%, while the 5/1 ARM is now at 3.250% which amounts to an APR of 3.353%.
The fluctuations in the market yesterday along with the slight rise in the national average may have served as something of a reminder that those looking to lock in a good deal may be running out of time.
