Copy of house for sale2 300x219 Mortgage Rates Today: SunTrust Low Interest on Mortgages The rates being displayed as available from SunTrust (NYSE:STI)  this Wednesday are once again showing only the most minor of fluctuations, as the lender once again remains close enough to the levels of the national average. However, as attractive as the following rates may be for now, they are very much on borrowed time and predicted to continue increasing over the days and weeks to come.

Starting with the most popular standard package of them all, 30 year fixed term mortgages for new and used home purchases are today being offered for a rate of 4.125% and a resulting APR of 4.259%, while the 15 year fixed rate on the other hand can be locked in for 3.500% and an APR of 3.711%.

Those interested in adjustable term packages are also well catered for this Wednesday, with the Agency 7/1 ARM continuing to offer strong value at 2.990% and an APR of 2.715% variable, just in the same respect as the popular 5/1 Agency ARM which can today be taken out with a starting rate of 2.750% and a 2.546% APR variable.

Those who failed to make the very best of the all time low rates seen over previous weeks need not despair yet as there are still excellent deals to be had. However, whether or not we will be able to say the same next week remains open to debate and should encourage all on the fence to act now.
