No Samsung Galaxy Nexus for UK Market This Month
A little bad news is making it ways from the depths of the industry to the people of the United Kingdom today, or at least those hopelessly devoted to Google’s Android platform – multiple reports are now suggesting that the Google Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is of course the world’s first device too sport Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, will not be arriving at any point during November.
According to Amazon’s product listings, the next generation of the Nexus line-up is in fact due to be released on December 2nd, but this does in fact fail to take into account the fact that all such dates are subject to change.
It had been suggested that Samsung confirmed on more than one occasion that the new Nexus would be arriving in the UK this month, though it appears that something is not quite ready, if the latest reports prove to be accurate. Back in the USA on the other hand, all signs are still pointing toward a November release, specifically via Verizon Wireless stores beginning on the 21st following the Black Friday sales frenzy.
When and where the Galaxy Nexus finally does arrive, what cannot be denied is the fact that it is likely to pack quite the punch to say the least. Not only will it boast exclusive inclusion of Android 4.0 right out of the box, but it will also ship with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 4.65 inch Super AMOLED screen and 4G LTE connectivity.
