Nokia Lumia 800 Updates, Including Batter Fix Coming Soon
It seems that the iPhone 4S is not the only handset that has battery issues. Nokia revealed recently that it will be fixing the battery life problem of the Lumia 800 through a series of updates. The first release will reportedly reach consumers this month while the second update will be available by January 2012.
Nokia is very good with taking care of their customers and can be seen through their efforts in releasing the fix for the Lumia 800 as soon as possible. The first update will also include improvements for the phone’s charging system.
Technology experts are amazed that the Finnish manufacturer will tackle the phone’s charging system problem this early since it announced weeks before that the first update will only include software improvements. The first release, according to sources, will include the voicemail fixes for the handset, the 7740 Exchange, audio quality patch and a fix to make the auto-backlight management more efficient.
Nokia representatives said that the update will be ready in two weeks and will be available for all Lumia users in countries where the model has already been launched.
Nokia was the leading mobile phone manufacturer years back and it has been trying to get a bigger share of the market since the proliferation of smartphones.
