Obama’s popularity down
Reigning US president, Barack Obama’s popularity rating hasn’t been so low since he took place in his presidential residency, according to Rasmussen research group’s report that was published on Tuesday.
42 percent of voters think that Obama’s performance is more or less reasonable. However, 56 percent of the people who took part in this survey said that they are dissatisfied with the president’s work. 24 percent of the US voters strongly support Obama’s activity but on the other hand 44 percent of them disapprove it.
According to the survey, 44 percent of the americans think that Obama performs well or even excellently in terms of national security and 39% of people has positive opinion about the way that Obama treats economic problems. 34 percent of the respondents think that Obama handles well the oil catastrophe in the Gulf of Mexico.
Head of the research group, Scott Rasmussen added: in voters mood the crucial element is that they don’t believe in the operation of the political system, they think politicians are corrupt and they feel that neither of the parties has answers for the most important questions. 27 percent of people said, they are satisfied with the work of the Congress as they treat economic problems, 41 percent of them says that some random people could do that job better.
As part of the general dissatisfaction, 63% of the respondents are convinced that Obama must withdraw from the government’s health reform. 39 percent of people think believe that the United States and its allies will win the war against terrorism, and 41 percent of them think that the US can win in Afghanistan.
