google nexus prime 146x146 Samsung Galaxy Nexus to Debut Black Friday, Which Devices will Support Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich? The very first device to sport the next generation of Google’s popular mobile operating is perhaps without question one of the most highly anticipated launches of 2011 across the board. Verizon Wireless is gearing up for the all important public release of the long awaited Samsung Galaxy Nexus, which is to ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box.

Even more tantalizingly, rumor has it that the launch could take place as early as the Black Friday shopping frenzy – which from a marketing point of view would hardly be a poor decision, if something of a chaotic one.

Furthermore, the same leaked document also suggests in fairly plain English that the HTC Rezound and Motorola Droid Razr are set to follow suit in the very near future, leaving many to question which devices are likely to benefit from the new Google platform.

Motorola have indicated that the Xoom tablet PC, therefore likely the Xoom 2 also, will be afforded an update but within an unstated timeframe. The Motorola Droid Bionic was also thrown into the mix, as was the Droid Razr.

HTC have been far from quiet about HTC though have stopped short of offering any specific details, though it is a pretty same bet that all the top end lineup from 2011 will be afforded the upgrade at some point or another.

Samsung of course are set to see 4.0 ICS hit a number of their top lines, basically covering the whole of the Galaxy lineup including the Galaxy Tabs.
