Samsung Galaxy S III to Debut at Mobile World Congress in February
Samsung’s newest smartphone, the Galaxy S III is presumed to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in February.
Sources say, the Galaxy S III will feature the following specs: a 1.8GHz or 2.0GHz quad core processor, a 10 or 12 megapixel camera, and a support for 3D.
The Samsung Galaxy series have been a hit in the smartphone industry, giving Samsung a boost in the business. Figures in Christmas even show that the Galaxy S II outperformed the iPhone 4S in the United Kingdom according to the mobile sales tracker of Uswitch.com. Rumors disclose that the Galaxy S III would be launched sometime in April or around the second quarter of the year.
It is also expected for Galaxy S III to have a better battery life, given the common complaint in the Samsung Galaxy S II of its standard battery life. Apparently, with moderate to heavy use, the life of the standard battery of the Galaxy S II would only be around eight hours.
Expectations are henceforth running high for the Galaxy S III. The rumored specification the of Galaxy S III would surely overshadow the iPhone 4S, showing how Samsung is giving its all for its newest smartphone. This would be a good move by the company following its success in the smartphone business.
