Samsung Galaxy S2 Vs HTC Amaze 4G
The Samsung Galaxy S2 is perhaps one of, if not the most popular next-generation Smartphone in the world today, based not only on hard sales but also the level of interest in the device across the web and mass media. However, competition is never far away and in this case the S2 might well have met its match once and for all, by way of the HTC Amaze 4G.
Unlike most other HTC devices, the Amaze 4G is quite superbly stylish which has already been picked up by reviewers as a notable improvement that was long overdue.
Beneath the wonderfully face-lifted exterior, the Amaze 4G is powered by the same dual-core 1.5GHz processor as the Samsung Galaxy S2 on the T-Mobile network, backed by 1GB of dedicated RAM. The spec-sheet goes on to include more identical features, including the 8 megapixel camera, and 16Gb of on board storage space. The screens may be slightly different but arguable offer almost identical quality and a quite sublime viewing experience.
However, what might prove to be the deal-breaker overall is the fact that bravely enough, the Amaze 4G is more expensive than any of the iterations of the Samsung Galaxy S2.
Whether or not the Amaze 4G has what it takes to claim the crown therefore remains to be seen, but with the likes of the Google/Samsung Nexus Prime just around the corner, whichever devices comes out on top better be prepared for what could prove a very short reign.
