Samsung Galaxy S3 to Follow April Release Tradition?
Rumours have it that Samsung is readying its latest effort intended as a good successor to its Galaxy S2 smartphone.
The South Korean phone manufacturer is set to propose to its avid consumers the Samsung Galaxy S3 next month. Following such staging, the smartphone will take off to store shelves in the following quarter.
Online buzz heightened for the handset after Eldar Murtazin of Hit-Or-Miss Phones stated that Samsung Galaxy S3 will drive into the competition with the Galaxy S2’s previous success in sight. It can be understood that the phone is poised to inherit the Galaxy S2’s most popular smartphone of the year title – should it succeed, of course.
The phone is said to follow the same route that its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S2, once took before it finally acquired its current status. It can be noted that the Galaxy S2 was first launched in South Korea where it enjoyed great reception before it finally hit US shores.
Murtazin also indicated that the phone will come fresh off the box with the Ice Cream Sandwich Android platform. The device is set to feature an HD screen and a 12-megapixel camera which provides quite an advancement to the previous model’s.
In lieu of the HD screen matter, it can be noted that the Galaxy Nexus came with an HD screen as well.
The Samsung Galaxy S3 is said to hit Mobile World Congress stage next month which will become a prelude to its release in April of this year.
