Saturday Mortgage Rates: Home Purchase and Refinance Deals Hold Steady at PNC Bank
Today sees PNC Bank (NYSE:PNC) continue and incredibly strong run of both home purchase and refinance mortgage rates, which like those of many other major US lenders have defied the odds to actually show a number of decreases from those of last week. Indeed, incredible as it may seems, there is once again talk of all time record lows being well within reach should the present patterns continue much longer.
Looking now at the purchase packages being advertised by PNC this Saturday morning, the most popular 30 year fixed rate deal is now at 3.875% and APR of 4.024%, while those looking for the 15 year deal will today find the loan at 3.250% and APR of 3.343%.
20 year fixed rate purchase deals are now at 3.750% and APR amounting to 3.855%, while shorter 10 year loans can be locked in for 3.250% and APR of 3.149%.
In the case of the attractive refinance packages being offered by PNC today, options include the excellent 30 year fixed rate deal now at 4.500% and APR of 4.503%, while 15 year fixed deals can see existing balances cleared at rate of 3.750% and APR of 3.768%.
Predictions for the upcoming days and weeks are of course as mixed as ever, though there is little reason to believe that those investing this weekend will be anything other than delighted with what look to be some of the very best rates seen in the best part of a generation.
