Sex and the City 2: Hot or not?
This Friday, the 28th of May 2010 the second part of Sex and the City will be shown in cinemas all around the world.
Millions of fans of the four girlfriends from Manhattan have been waiting for this moment for the past two years. Some have already had a chance to see it. They all agreed this film is a nightmare.
It’s hard not to conclude that if Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte were our friends in a real life, we would stop receiving calls from them long time ago – writes the New York Daily News. Carrie looks like a maniac. Dramas that appear make you wonder whether her emotional instability did not allow her to experience satisfaction in her life.
This movie is like a great champagne that someone left opened for the night and it has lost all the bubbles. “Sex and the City 2″ is not a full-length film. It’s porn for consumers – judged Az Central. Since viewers are not required to try to understand the protagonists. They should feel connected with their boots, flats and other accessories. Carrie’s strength and independence have been pushed aside by was unbelievable selfishness.
USA Today called the film “an insult of the well-written series and the celebration of friendship” and “slap in the face of the heroines” and “an insult to Muslims.” New York Magazine adds that the picture gives a perfect possibility to feast to all those who have criticized the series. Chicago Sun-Times has been also very harsh in making a review of the film.
First Sex and the City has received no better reviews. However, it has managed to earn over $415,000,000 worldwide. Will the sequel repeat the success of the first part? Or will reviews discourage you from going to the movies?
