Smile makes your life longer
People who smile often and easily make their lives longer about 7 years. This unexpected fact was stated by a group of researchers from American University Wayne in Michigan.
During the research, scientists have discovered that the “smiling and cheerful people live longer”. Calculations showed that the “smile can increases the length of life for about 7 years”. For now, scientists cannot find the explanation for this phenomenon. However, the think that a smile is a reflection of inner harmony, optimism and positive attitude to life.
Scientists published a study in a journal called Psychological Science, which says that a false grin doesn’t give the same benefit regarding life expectancy as the genuine smile often called as “Duchenne smile”. Duchenne smile affects the mouth and eyes as well.
Researches examined 1700 people during 10 years and found out that those people who were depressed and often nervous have suffered in high blood pressure and other health problems.
