T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S2 – More than Worth the Wait
While T-Mobile seemed to have drawn the short straw when it came to release dates and availability of their own version of the Samsung Galaxy S2, it has now been widely accepted that their iteration may well prove to be the most impressive of all.
Sprint was of course the first network to announce their own edition of the S2 and indeed release it to the US market, while AT&T followed quickly afterwards with around a week or so difference.
T-Mobile on the other hand remained mum on the whole issue and did not even allow a hands-on testing during the Samsung launch event in New York City.
However, this has now changed as the company has announced that their own Samsung Galaxy S2 will be available from October 12th, when it arrives alongside another incredibly impressive device, the HTC Amaze. While the device may indeed be trailing behind those of the other major carriers, those with the required patience look set to be richly rewarded.
Along with the incredible end to end specs the T-Mobile S2 will share with its global and US counterparts, the process speed has been bumped up by way of a dual-core 1.5GHz chip, along with a slightly larger screen than some other models.
With a price of $229,99 following a $50 rebate alongside a two-year contract, it is little wonder that many are not only considering the –Mobile S2 to the very best of the bunch, but perhaps the greatest Smartphone of 2011 so far and a very real reason why Apple should be watching their backs.
