Tablet PC Christmas Buying Frenzy Expected – iPad 3 the Talk of the Town
Early data has indicated, albeit less than surprisingly ,that preorders for the new Amazon Kindle tablet PC are coming in at a quite ridiculous rate t say the very least. Across the board, tablet PCs are set to be the number-one item on buyers’ Christmas wish-lists for 2011, with each and every manufacturer looking to grab a share of the action.
Needless to say, this has prompted many to suggest that Apple will indeed be likely to roll out the new iPad 3 in time for the Christmas rush.
That being said, the iPad and Kindle Fire aren’t the only tablets grabbing the headlines of late, as HP seems to have somehow got hold of another batch of the recently extinct HP TouchPad, which will be sold for the same reduced price of $99. Rumor has it that an Android device is also in the pipeline for the manufacturer as well.
Of course, the iPad 3 would quite simply walk all over all comers should it arrive in time and live up to the buzz regarding its display. According to those who at least claim to be in the know, the iPad 3 will sport a huge screen with resolution equal to the iPhone 4, which is of course stunning. On the other hand, there is doubt that such technology would leave enough time for Apple too produce enough units of the iPad 3 to meet the Christmas demand, once again leaving the rumor mill back at square one.
