The IPhone 5 Release Date to be Announced October 4
Tuesday October 4, will be the day. The day that all the speculation about the iPhone 5 features and release date will end. On that day Tim Cook of Apple (NYSE:AAPL) will be unveiling the new iPhone 5. The actual release date will probably be within a few weeks of the announcement if it follows previous releases.
From clues around the industry it seems like the new phone will run on the new iOS5 that was announced this summer. There might be a larger screen and the new software might be able to handle widgets like the Android system. There may actually be 2 phones unveiled. One would be the new iPhone5 while the other would be a less expensive iPhone 4S which basically would be an updated iPhone 4.
Sprint is supposed to be carrying the new phone along with AT&T and Verizon. T-Mobile won’t be involved with this new phone at this time.
Tim Cook will be leading this main event and will not only unveil the new iPhone 5 but other products as well. What will happen with the ipod touch and other ipod lines. Will there be an ipod touch 5?
So all will tune in on October 4th to see the future of the iPhone as well as Apple.
