2012 Toyota Camry hybrid 300x156 The New 2012 Toyota Camry and Hybrid Redesigned With You in MindToyota is relying on its new 2012 Camry to continue with their excellent record and take back some lost market share.  The Camry has been the best selling car for many years.  Many people, especially the baby boomers really like the Camry.  Toyota has to balance the needs and desires of their extensive client base by keeping things relatively the same while trying to change enough to attract new customers.

The external changes to the Camry for 2012 are not big enough to see that much of a difference.  It still looks like a Camry.  The car is lighter than the old version and that has lead to better gas mileage which is important to buyers.

The biggest changes seem to be with the 2012 Camry Hybrid.  The fuel efficiency has jumped 21% over last year’s model getting an average of 41mpg.  The car is lighter and had an upgraded 2.5 liter gas engine.  The horsepower has been increased as well giving the car better pickup.  It can accelerate from zero to 60 in 7.2 seconds.  Interior upgrades have been made as well to make the car more comfortable and high tech.

Toyota has a strong reputation for quality and dependability.  They are continuing in that tradition with the new 2012 Camrys that are on sale now in the US.
