The US Samsung Galaxy S2 – Worth the Wait?

samsung galaxy s2a 300x270 The US Samsung Galaxy S2 – Worth the Wait? While most of the world has been reveling in the delights of the Samsung Galaxy S2 for quite some time now, the US market has been forced to sit on the sidelines and wait patiently for its own turn to come around. Thankfully, the time has at long last arrived and the Android super-phone is to land on three major US carriers throughout the course of the fall.

Those looking to get their hands on their own S2 as quickly as possible should direct their attention to Sprint, who will be offering theirs for $199.99 with a two year contract beginning on September 16th. The S2 is something of a marked evolution of its predecessor, though loses the slide-out QWERTY keyboard and gains a wealth of spec improvements, including a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, Super AMOLED screen and excellent cameras.

With the US launch having taken so long to come about, it was only natural that many would start to expect the S2 upon its arrival to offer too little too late – which thankfully has so far proved not to be the case. The Sprint S2 may be a little on the bulky side, but those who are willing to put up with a slightly larger device will be blown away by all it has to offer.
