US Bank Mortgage Interest Rates Today
US Bank (NYSE:USB) has continued the trend of the week begun yesterday by providing a range of excellent mortgage products and services for Tuesday, all of which are in line with the other major lenders across the US.
For those looking into the idea of a home purchase, 30 year fixed deals are today being offered for 3.750% which yields an APR of 3.947%, while the popular 15 year fixed deal is today at 3.250% with a resulting APR of 3.504%. 5 year ARM terms can be taken today with interest of 2.625% and an APR of 3.411% to begin, while the Jumbo 30 year fixed deal now rests at 3.875% with a resulting APR of 4.105%.
30 year fixed rate FHA terms are now at 3.750% with a resulting APR of 4.315%, while the 15 year FHA fixed term deal now rests at 3.250% with an APR of 3.946%.
Across the board, almost every mortgage rate offered by US Bank today has shown a reduction from those of yesterday, which happens to be a similar story across most major US lenders as overall averages plummet beyond all time record lows. Sadly, even the lowest rates seen in over 60 year appear to be insufficient to jump start a struggling housing market, which as a whole is heading for its worst performing year in decades.
