Will iPhone 4S Prove Enough to Limit Disappointment Over Absent iPhone 5?
One again, it has been something of a busy week for iPhone devotees and technophiles across the board, with the cat having been possibly let out of the bag regarding the upcoming introduction of the iPhone 4S, along with an accidental welcome message being sent out regarding a yet to be made official iCloud service.
Tuesday is set to be the day when Apple finally reveals its next generation operating system iOS 5 to the world, along with the next generation of the iPhone. Needless to say, such a date has been highly anticipated for several months now and the thoughts of the world have been with nothing other than the iPhoe 5, but with talk now surrounding nothing more significant than the upgraded iPhone 4S, are millions in line for a substantial disappointment?
Well, regardless of the name of the next iPhone it will undoubtedly feature specs that trump all those of the previous models – even if it turns out to be only slightly. The new model is expected to feature the dual-core processor from the iPad 2, which will be backed by 1GB of dedicated RAM and also feature an 8 megapixel camera.
With the details coming as early as tomorrow, it is expected that the weekend of October 14th will see the new iPhone made available for purchase, with Sprint, AT&T and Verizon all dead certs for carrying the device.
Buyers can expect to take home the new iPhone for around the $200 mark alongside a 2 year contract – unless of course the iPhone 4S turns out to be the lesser iPhone some have predicted for the lower end of the market, in which case it may very well be made available free of charge.
